Moving past the tipping point: Alberta’s new land use system

12/10/2009

On December 9, 2009, Cindy Chiasson presented a webinar on Alberta’s new land-use system. In it, she reviewed this system and discussed the Land Use Framework, the newAlberta Land Stewardship Act (ALSA), and development of regional land use plans. You can download the Power Point from the ELC blog, as well as use the blog to ask questions and discuss what you think of the new system.

You will also find answers to follow-up questions on the blog.

  1. How are council members chosen?
  2. Compensation for participation?
  3. Improved Aboriginal consultation?
