JoAnn Jamieson practices energy, environmental and aboriginal law and is a partner at the law firm Lawson Lundell LLP. JoAnn assists clients in navigating environmental assessment and regulatory processes in the development of natural resource projects including oil and gas, mining, hydro, and clean energy (syngas, wind, biomass and geothermal). JoAnn also has extensive experience working with First Nation, Métis and Inuit communities including the negotiation of impact benefit agreements and structuring business relationships. She has been recognized as a leading Canadian lawyer in aboriginal, environmental, energy and mining law.

 

JoAnn is pleased to serve on the ELC Board as she believes in the ELC’s mission to promote strong environmental laws and policy in Alberta and across Canada. JoAnn Jamieson lives with her family in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and regularly enjoys the great outdoors – hiking, camping, skiing and observing wildlife.
