ELC Comments on the Government of Alberta’s “Water Conversations”

The Government of Alberta’s “Water Conversations” are nearly complete (the online workbook is available until April 11th). These conversations have brought up many water management issues.

The ELC is pleased to provide comments regarding these issues and recommends using this policy and law review as an opportunity to amend the Water Act to reflect the principles of environmental protection and sustainability, principles central to managing water in the public interest.
