Regulatory Updates: A Webinar Announcement

Bill 28: Gravel Pits, Community Design Codes and other Changes to the Municipal Government Act

Join the ELC for an upcoming regulatory update webinar on April 30th. This webinar will focus on Bill 28, which proposes changes to the Municipal Government Act. These changes will, among other things, impact municipal control over gravel pits and over planning and development. These proposed legislative changes signal a reduced role for municipal participation and control in decision-making around local environmental matters.
