Environmental Law in Focus Part 2: Webinar Series Announcement

Part 2 of the ‘Environmental Law in Focus’ mini-webinar series targets key environmental law and policy issues with a focus on building understanding, exploring the possibilities, and promoting law reform.  The fall series focused on habitat and water: two ongoing areas of environmental challenges. This winter, we move on to biodiversity. Join us for our bite-sized webinars (to go along with lunch).

Join us for a four-part webinar series focused on biodiversity in Alberta. Each part will consist of a short webinar dealing with a specific aspect of the law, followed by a question-and-answer portion where you can ask an ELC lawyer your questions related to this topic. You can find our fall Environmental Law in Focus series on water and habitat management here

Biodiversity in Focus

Our biodiversity-in-focus series will look at four main topics: parks and protected areas, grasslands, wetlands, and forests. For each area of law, we will highlight some of the relevant provincial (and in some cases federal) laws governing each specific area of the environment. We will address any central law and regulatory reforms, including in past ELC work, and have an opportunity to answer questions.

You can find links to sign up for each webinar below:
