Bob Nichol is Vice-President Woodlands for Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac). Bob has over 30 years’ experience in the Canadian forestry industry. He is a member of the College of Alberta Professional Forest Technologists. Bob was a member of the Steering Committee for the Forest Engineering Research Institute of Canada (FERIC) and a task force member with the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE). He also sat on the Board for the Institute of Agriculture and Forestry.
Bob is currently Chair of the Forestry Section of the Forest Products Association of Canada and is involved in the implementation of the Canadian Boreal Forest Agreement. Bob’s career has focused on environmental sustainability and he sees his involvement with the Environmental Law Centre as a further opportunity to participate in the development of sound environmental principles. Bob and his family reside in Meanook, Alberta.
