This controversial bill was tabled in the summer and has been part of a storm of publicity and often confusing and contradictory information ever since.

Get the straight facts on Bill 50 – The  Electric Statutes Amendment Act, 2009 – and how it changes the role of public participation and environmental factors in transmission approvals in Alberta.

Laura Bowman, Staff Counsel with the Environmental Law Centre, will present a review of Bill 50 and answer your questions about this Bill’s implications for your organization and objectives.

This is a free event, but due to space constraints, registration is limited to 20 participants.

Where: The Environmental Law Centre (#800, 10025 106 Street, Edmonton)
When: January 7th, 2010, 12:00 to 13:00
